Classical Ballet And Contemporary Ballet

Rain

Rain is a Contemporary Ballet. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I performed this solo at YAGP in the Dallas region. As the name suggests, the significance of this dance is to simulate the image of a drop of rain freely falling from the sky.

Odette Act II Swan Lake

At YAGP, I performed a solo from Swan Lake (M. Petipa, L. Ivanov), which is a Ballet based on Russian and German folk tales that tell of a princess named Odette who was cursed to turn into a swan. The dance that I performed was Odette’s solo from Act II of the Ballet.

Nutcracker at NorthPark Center

Hockaday Dance students and Orchestra proudly presented The Nutcracker at NorthPark Center on December 9th, 2021. Four more shows will be performed at Hockaday Nasher Haemisegger Theater this month. I play the role of Snow Queen.

Annual Nutcracker Performance

Every year, during the winter, I performed in my dance studio’s annual Nutcracker Ballet. Everyone in the studio always felt excitement while preparing for the performance months in advance. Personally, my favorite dance was the Waltz of Flowers in Act II of the Nutcracker. In addition, I have also performed as an angel in the Nutcracker performed by professional dancers from Texas Ballet Theater in the Winspear Opera House.

Ballet Paquita

This classical Ballet tells the story of Paquita, who is a gypsy girl that is actually of noble birth. At my dance studio, I had a lead role when we performed Paquita as a group dance.
