Chinese Folksdance And Group Dance

Flower in the Rain

A type of Chinese folk dance, Flower in the Rain is a beautiful umbrella dance that originates from the Dai people, which is one of the 56 ethnic groups in China. They inhabit Yunnan Province, which is in the southwestern area of China. Currently, there are over 300 kinds of Dai dances that have been passed down from as early as 2,000 years ago.

The Girl in the Neighborhood

The Girl in the Neighborhood is another type of Dai dance. This solo portrays the happiness of a girl who grows up full of joy and hope in her neighborhood.
