Red Sorghum “Jiu Er” — My Choreography

Mixing the styles of classical Chinese dance and Contemporary, Red Sorghum “Jiu Er” is a solo that I choreographed. I cut and edited the music from a famous Chinese song, “Red Sorghum.”  In the 2020 Reflection Arts Competition, I received the “Award of Excellence” for Dance Choreography with this dance and further advanced to win a state level award. I was also cordially invited to attend the State Awards Ceremony hosted in San Antonio, TX, where awards would be presented by Texas PTA President Sheri Doss.
